Why Astronautics?

Astronautics Corporation of America was founded more than 65 years ago with the desire to push the boundaries of technology and innovation. That same passion drives our employees today.

We are a mid-sized, privately-held aerospace company headquartered in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, a vibrant community where you can live, work and relax.

We’re big enough to take on the most difficult and challenging projects, but we’re small enough to keep every employee involved on many levels – right from the start.

At Astronautics, you will be part of a team of people that work together to create sophisticated avionics and systems for the aerospace industry.

As a member of the Astronautics team, your work will impact and touch multiple business functions and people.  For example, as an engineer you will be involved in all phases of a product’s development: from proposal, design, development, testing, and manufacturing, to marketing.  Your career is what you want to make of it.

We value people with analytical skills, creativity and energy.  We encourage employees to evaluate existing processes and procedures and question whether we can do things differently or better.

Equal Employment Opportunity is the Law. For more information click here.

We design and manufacture cutting-edge avionic solutions for fixed and rotor-wing aircraft in both the commercial and military markets.  Our innovations in flight deck avionics, connectivity, cybersecurity, mission communications, and software development are delivered by a global workforce – making flying safer and more secure – whether by providing air-to-ground communications to a helicopter transporting a critically-ill patient to the nearest level-one trauma center or protecting the maintenance data on a passenger jet flying between Europe and the United States.

We pride ourselves on developing engineering and manufacturing solutions for some of the most challenging aerospace issues. To meet this mark, we strive to give every employee the opportunity to realize his or her full potential. We value performance while celebrating success.

We invest in our people with training, career growth assignments, and promotional opportunities, as well as a generous tuition reimbursement program. Our investment in development is the foundation of our success.

Our talented and diverse workforce of seasoned professionals have continued to advance their careers through building news skills needed for the broader technical and leadership roles they hold today.  This value of continuous learning has passed on from each generation and continues today with mentoring opportunities to newer employees with bright futures.
